Why your pixel fires but Events Manager shows nothing
The Meta Pixel Helper lights up green, so the pixel is clearly firing, yet Events Manager shows no events arriving. That disconnect between "fires" and "received" has a few specific causes.
Fires locally is not the same as received
The helper confirms the pixel ran in your browser. Events Manager confirms Meta's servers actually got the event. Between them, the request can be sent to the wrong place, blocked, or rejected, so one can be true and the other not.
The usual causes
- Wrong pixel ID: firing into a different or old pixel than the one you are looking at.
- The request is blocked by an ad blocker, the browser, or consent before it leaves.
- Events rejected for malformed parameters or a domain not verified in Meta.
- You are looking at the wrong view or date range in Events Manager.
How to fix it
Confirm the pixel ID matches, check the browser network tab to see if the request actually leaves and what Meta responds, and verify your domain in Business Manager. If the browser keeps blocking it, move to the Conversions API so events are sent server-side and arrive reliably.
