This policy explains how Datahound ("we", "us") handles personal data of visitors and customers of this website. Who is the data controller

What we collect and why

• Enquiry and onboarding details you submit through our forms (name, email, website domain, the platforms you use, notes about your setup, rough ad spend). We use these to respond to you and deliver the service. Lawful basis: performance of a contract, and our legitimate interest in answering enquiries.
• Payment information. Payments are handled by Stripe. We do not see or store your full card details. We receive confirmation of payment and limited billing details. Lawful basis: performance of a contract and compliance with our legal obligations.
• Email correspondence you send us, kept so we can support you.
• Basic website analytics, if enabled, to understand how the site is used.

Who we share it with (processors)

We use trusted providers to run the business, each acting under contract on our instructions:

• Stripe - payment processing.
• Resend - transactional email delivery.
• Vercel - website and serverless hosting.
• Any analytics or productivity tools we use to manage your project.

We do not sell your personal data.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry and customer data for as long as needed to provide the service and to meet legal and accounting obligations (in the UK, financial records are generally kept for 6 years), after which we delete or anonymise it.

International transfers

Some providers process data outside the UK/EEA. Where they do, appropriate safeguards (such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or equivalent) are in place.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to access, correct, delete or restrict use of your personal data, to object to processing, and to data portability. To exercise any of these, email hello@datahound.agency. You can also complain to the ICO at ico.org.uk.

This site uses only the cookies necessary to function and, if enabled, privacy-friendly analytics. If we add non-essential cookies we will ask for your consent first.
